A Paranormal Investigation with Linked Souls
Our 1724 mill on the Pennypack Creek has stood for over 300 years, and if you believe the stories, a few of its former residents never left. This Halloween season, we’re teaming up with paranormal investigators Linked Souls for an evening of dinner, history, and a little communication with the other side. Start with a meal and a drink while we dig into the building’s past: the people who worked here, the lives that passed through, and the stories that have lingered in the walls. Then the Linked Souls team will lead a live investigation to see if we can make contact with any of the spirits who’ve taken up residence over the centuries. Last year, the team found two in our attic. This year? We have no idea what we’ll find. Tickets are free, and reservations are requested. We ask for a two-item minimum of drinks and/or food. Come hungry, come curious, and bring your bravest friends.

Sip & Paint: Great Blue Heron with Randall Brush
Join us Wednesday, November 4, for a relaxed evening of painting and pints on the third floor of Concordance Ferments. Local artist Randall Brush will guide you, step by step, through painting a great blue heron, inspired by the herons that fish the Pennypack Creek just behind our 1724 mill. No experience needed. Randall will walk you through every brushstroke, whether you’ve never picked up a brush or just want a fun night out. You’ll head home with a finished piece of your own. A full bar will be open upstairs, and a server will be on hand to take your order, so you can sip a farmhouse ale or a cocktail while you paint. Grab a friend, pick a seat, and let the creek be your muse.

Speed Dating and Brews
Friday, November 13 | 6-9 PM | Ages 25-40 Put the phone down and meet someone face to face. Join us at Concordance Ferments for an evening of speed dating in our historic 1724 mill on the Pennypack Creek. The format is simple: a series of short, friendly conversations over a good drink. No swiping, no algorithms, no pressure. Just real people, real conversation, and a chance to see who you click with. Whether you’re hoping to find a date or just want to meet new people in the area, you’ll leave with at least a few good stories. Our bar will be open all night, and our house-brewed farmhouse ales, along with the rest of the menu, are yours to enjoy between rounds. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and nobody’s keeping score. Come curious, come as you are, and come ready to talk.
